Free: Start A Blog 6 Day Challenge. (November 2023)
With 2024 right around the corner, now is the time to start setting yourself up for success.
At the beginning of each year, I start getting emails and comments from people asking for advice on how they can quit their jobs or grow a side hustle through blogging this year.
But then they start their blog and are immediately overwhelmed with everything they didn’t expect and don’t know.
I don’t want you to get so stuck that you can’t accomplish your goal of starting and growing a successful blog next year.
I was trying to brainstorm a way to help as many people as possible who want to grow a successful and profitable blog in 2024. I wanted to make sure they get off on the right foot so that they don’t get stuck and miss out on achieving their goals.
That’s when I came up with the idea for a free start-your-blog challenge for November.
My hope here is that you use this downtime in November before the holidays and end-of-year madness really get into full swing to start your blog and get it ready. That way, when the new year rolls around, you are ready to jump right into writing blog posts, growing your blog, and monetizing your blog. You won’t have to worry about all the getting started stuff since you got that out of the way in November.
I hope that this way, people are more likely to stick to their goals and not give up next year.
What’s the format of the challenge, and what do you have to do to participate?
I wanted this challenge to be super easy for you to complete at your own pace. I figured the best way to do that was to make it interactive but not like you have to be on at a certain time each day to catch the lessons live.
The format of the challenge is:
A daily email from me with a link to that day’s lesson.
Inside that lesson, you will see what you’ll be learning and any video tutorials that go with the lesson.
At the bottom of each lesson, there is a survey question that asks you something to do with the lesson. If you answer these questions each day (as long as you answer them all by December 1st) you’ll be entered for a little bonus goodie I’ll talk about later.
The challenge is completely free to join all you have to do is fill out the form at the bottom of this blog post, and you should get day one of the challenge right away.
You’ll then have from now until December 1st to complete all 6 days.
Don’t worry if you don’t have all of the lessons completed by December 1st. You won’t lose access to the challenge. That’s just when I’ll be drawing the bonus winner.
What will the challenge help you do over the 6 days?
Over the six days of this challenge, you will have done the following:
Picked the name of your blog.
Started your blog.
Made your blog look good enough for readers.
Decided the topics you are going to cover on your blog.
Created the legally nesicary pages for your blog. (privacy policy)
Created the nice to have pages for your blog. (contact, about)
Created a navigation menu for your blog so your readers will be able to get around.
Decided how often you plan to write blog posts.
Learned how bloggers make money from blog posts.
Learned how to create a new blog post inside your blog.
Launched your blog.
Created your blogging game plan for 2024.
What will you be ready to do when the challenge is over?
When the challenge ends, you will be ready to start monetizing your blog, using social media to grow your blog, and regularly writing blog posts.
AKA, by the time the challenge is over, you will be ready to be a full-blown blogger.
Motivation to get through the challenge:
I spent quite a few days creating this free challenge, and I don’t want that time to go to waste.
